Prof. Wenlong Li, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China

Wen-long Li, born in Qingdao, Shandong Province in 1980, is a professor and doctoral director of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. He has been awarded the Changjiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education, the Outstanding Youth Fund of Hubei Province, and the Outstanding Science and Technology Worker of Wuhan. He graduated from the school of mechanical engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University with a bachelor degree in 2004, and graduated from the school of mechanical engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a doctor degree in 2010. He is now a director of Hubei Provincial association of measurement and testing, a youth editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Aeronautics, and an IEEE/ASME number, and his research interests include complex surface measuring and robotics manipulation (inspection/milling/grinding). He published 1 book (related to robotic manipulation theory) /more than 50 papers, obtained more than 40 invention patents or software copyright. His research achievements have been applied to the fields of aerospace, nuclear power and automobile, mainly involved in precise inspection and robotic machining.
