2025 4th International Symposium on Sensor Technology and Control (ISSTC 2025) Concludes Successfully
2025 4th International Symposium on Sensor Technology and Control (ISSTC 2025) was successfully held in Qingdao, Shandong from October 17th to 19th, 2025. The symposium was hosted by China University of Petroleum (East China), and co-hosted by Henan University of Technology, Hebei University, and Yantai Nanshan University. It was organized by the College of Control Science and Engineering at China University of Petroleum (East China), with support from Higher Education Press, Xinjiang University, Shandong University, Qingdao University, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Shandong University of Technology, University of Jinan, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, among other institutions. The event also received technical support from the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (IEEE SMC). ISSTC 2025 focused on the latest research and development trends in sensor technology and control, bringing together over one hundred researchers, engineers, and technical experts from the global academic and industrial communities to discuss future technological directions, promote academic innovation and industrial integration, and exchange cutting-edge scientific achievements.
The symposium was opened by the Conference Chair, Professor Zhang Dongzhi from China University of Petroleum (East China). Professor Liu Zhen, Party Secretary of the College of Control Science and Engineering at China University of Petroleum (East China), delivered the opening speech, extending a warm welcome to all the attending experts and scholars on behalf of the conference.

In the afternoon, four parallel sessions were held, focusing on various research directions such as sensor design, control systems, flexible wearable technology, and AI-integrated applications. A total of 46 scholars presented their work in these sessions, which covered topics including Advanced Gas and Humidity Sensing Technologies and Devices, Flexible Wearable and Biosensing Technologies, Advanced Sensing Materials, Devices and Systems, and Real-time Perception & Intelligent Sensor Hardware-Software Co-Design Systems. The atmosphere for academic exchange was vibrant.
